coloured lines far right and top

when i switch to overscan i see a one-pixel wide green line on the left and a 1-pixel high red line on the top of the image. are these lines normal? i guess they are the furthest out pixels on the CCD. are they markers?
at first i thought they were in my NLE, but today i made a push-transition and the green line moved across screen.

should i worry about this?

Do you have the original DVX100? This may be due to pixel shift. I'm not sure. The canon XL1 had this same problem.
