Colors change on playback due to new aspect ratio...?!

Ok, so I have a project that I decided to switch to a 2.35:1 ratio from 16x9. After building a new timeline with the exact same settings (Prores, square, 23.98, etc), and changing the size to 1280x545, it suddenly gives me a brighter color on playback and export. Why is this happening?!

Upon changing the codec to Animation, it plays back fine, but not on export. It's too bright.

Did you try manually selecting a codec on Export?

Yeah. h264 / ProRes / Animation. Same thing.

Its because H264 has a different color and gamma space than ProRes. Export through compressor and in the Inspector the 4th button over (filters) go to the color tab. Change the pulldown from "default for encoder" to "preserve source".
