Color Temp/Color Phase vs. Warm card

I have Warm Cards from warmcards.com .... How do i use apply them?
Just point the camera at the card and it'll white balance itself? Do i have to push a button on the DVX? Im Sorry if it is a retarded question but someone please help, I'd like to use them.

Make sure you're not in full auto mode... set the white balance switch to A or B... frame up the image so the warm card fills the screen, but it is also critical that it is reflecting the light in your scene, you can't white balance in advance, you do it immediately before you start to shoot... press the white balance button at the front of the camera.
