color saturation controls?

i just got a dvx100p, and i was wondering if there was a way to adjust the color saturation in the camera itself and not in Final cut
basically, i want to shoot with hi contrast and very subtle colors, can these things be adjusted with this cam? thanks!

absolutely.
If you want the high contrast with desaturated colors set your master ped to -15 and set your chroma level to -7. You might also change your gamma to Cine-gamma V as that will give you a little more of that contrasty look, while preserving your highlights.

oh my god !  that's CONTRAST for sure ! it can't get more contrasty than that... he he...

but why dont you like to set the contrast in Post ? fast and easy, no ?
