Color Matching the HPX300 and the HPX170

I have done a few searches and I have not really found much regarding this matter, maybe I am using the wrong terms.

Anyway, I have an HPX170 and an HPX300, I have the scene files settings very close to where I want them on the 300 and I am about to embark on setting up the 170 scene file to match. I know it cannot be as simple as matching the the settings because they both use different codecs, have different glass, sensors, etc.

Has anyone accomplished this task? And if so do you have any words or wisdom for me to make this as painless as possible?

I thank you in advance.

I use a colorchecker chart when I have to match. Get the middle greys at the same level and match black levels if possible with the provided gamma controls. Then change matrix settings if saturation is not matched. Having two identical monitors helps. One camera will always blow highlights sooner so keep that in mind. Two HPX Panasonics should match well, you shouldn't even have to touch the matrix.
