Color Correcting Tips/Tricks

Hey all, I noticed that the Sony Vegas section has a CC tutorial/tips thread... I thought we could start something similar here, giving settings in Avid, etc. Avid's CC tool is very powerful to give some great looks.

Here's some raw stills from a shoot I had this weekend. We could start with these.

Great Briceman!
May I suggest defining various types of film looks for CC in advance ( more can be added) so that there is an aim.
I have Avid, I will try to do some CC. But I am a novice in CC so I will be really looking forward to learn from others & then try to copy their steps.

Here's a classic night lighting example, taken from my film A Price Too High
