Color Calibrating my TV

Hey all,

I've looked around on the web for tips on properly calibrating my monitor for production use, but I can't find much. The reason being that I don't have a production monitor, I'm using a 32" Vizio 1080p TV as my monitor. The only web links I found were for calibrating monitors with features that a regular TV doesn't seem to have. I tried using the NVidia control panel to adjust color settings but didn't have much luck there, either. Does anyone have any tips on this?

How are you driving the monitor?
Afraid if you are using a regular computer monitor card and not something like a Matrox MXO2, Kona style card that outputs a broadcast signal, then you are still not monitoring in the correct space. Best you could hope for would be to feed bars into the monitor and adjust as best you could with the limited controls provided in your monitor.

Good Luck!

I'm feeding DVI to VGA from an Nvidia Geforce GTS 450. I know it's not the ideal solution, but I'll have to make due with what I have I spose.
