Please help me with this, im going crazy. im adjucting my color bars on my tv based on my camera, panasonic dvx100b. then it looks good, and then when i put color bars from my adobe premiere its different colors. what em i suppose to do, and then lets say when i film with another camera, do i need to adjust the colors again or is it standard. which color bar should i set my tv to . please help, thank you.

Adjust everything to the bars on the camera. Your computer monitor (where you have Premiere) needs to be calibrated to the same standard.

premiere pro 1.5

What do you mean calibrate,

i adjusted the color bar from premiere and its kind of yellow on my monitor, but in my computer its the correct colors (i think or it looks right)

so should i adjust everything to the camera. is that the best one?

The bars should be the same no matter their source...if they're real bars. But I like using the cameras bars, since that'll be the originating source of the video, too.

And, maybe I misunderstood, but you adjust the monitor/viewfinder/tv to the bars, not the bars to the viewing device.

ok i adjucted the tv colors to my camera bars, very close now, but when i play a premiere bars the magenta and red is different colors. why is that?

The computer monitor color needs to be adjusted. Possibly also the color profile and/or the gamma. You'd probably be best off adjusting the colors on the monitor istself, rather than through the video card.
