Color Bars and eye-ballin

i did search...but i don't know if this is in BGreen's book...so

when you display the color bars on the DVX the screen (IMHO) it is perfectly calibrated. so when you connect it to whatever monitor just eyeball it and match it up. quick and easy.

what i did was...adjusted the brightness until the lower right corner matched...the 3 pluge bars for those technically inclined :)
adjusted the contrast so the bottom white was white and the upper grey was grey
adjusted the hue - though i didn't need to.
adjusted the saturation to match the color vibrancy/depth
and finally the sharpness to kill the bleed that was slightly occuring between the bars.

turned off the bars and my field monitor looked exactly like my dvx screen. sweet.
