College cheerleaders shot on GH13

Now that I have your attention, this video does have cheerleaders but it also has a lot of other stuff. I shot everything handheld witht he kit lens and the olympus 9-18mm. Check it out.
 
Awesome video. Talk about capturing the spirit of the event. Makes me wish i was American!
What kind of a rig did you use for this? There is a nice sturdiness to the camera movement.
The contrast of footage really does make it pop from the screen.

Thanks. Basically it was just mounted on a Barska Accu Grip and a $60 z-finder knock off. This combo really does help create a sturdy image with the kit lens. BTW our team lost the game but you wouldn't know it from the video.
 
I liked it! well done, really good atmosphere you portrayed.
would have been nice to see some slowmotion though...
 
Great work. I enjoyed the overall effect of "feeling the football experience" by the end of your video. VERY NICE!

I agree that some slow-mo would have been good but I shot it all in 1080 24p because the massive amount of detail kept crashing my camera in 720/60p. I am glad that I was forced to shoot it all in 1080 because I realised that fast action can actually look really good in 24p as long as you keep the shutter speed at 1/50 to create motion blur. I would really like to try some football shots in twixtor and get some artificial 1000fps shots.
 
Awesome video. Nothing beats football season. Once the season rolls around every Saturday (and Sunday for pro football) is like Christmas; actually better than Christmas. Can't beat the tailgates, parties, and smashing hits.

Nice work. Regarding the $60 z-finder knock off. Where did you find it? How well did it work on the GH-1 screen? I need one and I'm poor:-)
 
Very nice work gunstarhero. I like it.
How about make another edits and concentrate more on the cheerleaders.
No effects and it doesn't need to be cinematic. :)
