Hi everyone,
I'm looking for someone that is interested in collaborating with me for a contest here in Canada (you don't have to live here, you can be across the world for all I care!) that is being held by SOCAN, the music performing rights society. The contest is for young audio-visual composers, and I'd be entering in one or two categories with moving picture under five minutes in length. I'd be doing all the underscoring/cues, foley, etc...all I need is the picture (**original**). The prize money is a few thousand ($CAD), and I'd split it 50/50. You will also have full exclusive rights to use my score/sound for the movie (you don't own copyright, obviously) and you are able to use the film wherever and whenever you like with my full permission. I'd expect the same in return and of course, there would be contractual agreements so that both of us were on the same page.
What I'm looking for is someone who owns, or has access to high end equipment and someone who is capable of producing film at a professional standard (even if you are amateur but still create amazing quality work, that's good enough!) So this means I would obviously want full 1080p HD with no visible aliasing, grain, etc. It needs to look completely professional as the scores I'm writing will be professionally mixed and mastered. This has to be original video as well.
The due date for the contest is mid April.

EDIT: You do not have to be good at editing or post production. I can do this / have people that can. If you are though, that's a big bonus.
