Cold depressive look

Hello,

I want to shoot short drama with my divx100a Pal and need some suggestions how to achieve cold depressive look with dominant green-yellow-brownish gentle colours. The problem is that I'm limited to one location (inside) with dominant white colour and will be day light (and I'm shooting in Israel- too much sun). Any suggestions for divx100a gamma (etc.) settings?

thnx

In film color terms, cool/cold usually means blue/cyan. Green/yellow/brown sounds like a warm look to me.

You've got to make that white location more visually interesting, if you can. You can't fight a bland location.

You can gel some backlights with the colors you want. You can adjust the scene file settings for Color Temp and Color Phase. You can underexpose a bit to make things more dark/depressing. You can white balance to a non-white source, blue would give you a yellow tint.

Thank you for the replay. With the cold I meant cold depressive feeling. Yellow tint may be good.
