Cloverfield Trailer Teaser Spoof

[endeavor]

So about a month or so ago we shot a Cloverfield spoof with our commercial rep and another agency. It was used as a bumper for the Addy's which is an awards ceremony for Print/Web/Video.

Watch the spot here: http://www385.pair.com/gideas/badgiant/giantfield-HD_480p.mov

It was shot in a way to make it look cheap. Plus in post they messed with things to make it look more home-video like.

We shot/directed/edited. The effects were done by Animal. Sound by Market Street Sound.

Also, to clarify it a little bit, the agency in charge of this entire piece is called Giant Ideas and their logo is the Easter Island Head (this will clarify the ending).

Animal did it using Flame, some 3D program and probably After Effects too. I wasn't there for the 3D sessions so i'm not sure what all programs were used. 3D studio for sure though

Question: What did you use to compress and post the video? h.264?
