cloverfield 720 or 1080?

They were ostensibly trying to create something like a "palmcorder look" (although it looked much better than that), so choosing 720p would seem to make sense. Longer P2 runtimes probably helped too, considering the shooting style. I think 8GB cards were the biggest ones available at the time.
