Never read the book, never even heard of it. but I just saw the trailer and it looks VERY cool. (and as someone on the web said, deeper than the marianas trench)

buttered popcorn, large coke, oh yeah......

Thoughts?

I haven't read it either but I read an interview with the Matrix brothers, scratch that brother and sister now, and Tom Twyker about this movie and it sounds intriguing. I'd be happy if this movie was even simply a good effort because the source material sounds too epic to fit in a film. I saw the book in the shop yesterday and it's quite the doorstop.

I saw a cut of it a few months ago, and it is unbelievable. It's definitely not for everyone, but it's one of the best film's I've seen in years (that may change after tonight when I see The Master). And this is all based of an unfinished version.
