clips not plaing back

ok..my first real project , a music video, im really using all my resources here, i have about 20 clips (different tracks) and im at a stage where the pc (i7 4gb ram with sony vegas 9e 32bit) is realy working hard..i did convert all of the avchd clips to neoscene avi..now, after hours of editing, im a couple of traks seem not to play (or skip) , im not sure y this is, but on the time line lets say at 20 sec the track will play, but at 35 sec it will be black, nothing, any idea, whats going on? thanks for any tips..

Let me guess... you have audio but no video?

Do the clips still look fine in the timeline or do they now look like a corrupt file? Any effects on the clips (MBL, etc.)?

I've experienced a similar problem. I don't know what causes it. I have only seen it on longer (10 min or more) projects. I delete the affected clip and replace it with the same thing.
