Clips deleted

I filmed some very good shots the other day and played them back and they were fine. This morning i filmed a little clip go back to look at it and notice that the numbers are in red. I click play and NOTHING HAPPENS. These clips are important and i dont know if i lost them or not. Anybody know whats the problem?

did you change recording modes? you can only play back clips that are the same mode as the current camera setting. (but you can have mixed modes on the card)

You haven't lost anything, you just need to change the recording mode to match the format of the clips as Dick Campbell said.

yes! i figured this out on my own while filming today i understand now
