Clip TC Display in VLC?

I vaguely remember someone might have asked this previously, but...

Is there a way for VLC (or WMP) to display clip TC? Each clip starts at 00:00 in either player.

I have 3 hours of interviews and would prefer not to have to burn in TC on a screening copy for the client to view/select.
