Clip from NEW Feature

I like the look with the colors etc. but you have pops in your audio at every edit point and the levels from each scene are different. Also i think the beginning scene could use a music bed of some sort. I think you could cut down the length of time from where he is lost to wear the car breaks down or maybe edit it different. Also when he turns the car around i think i would have just shown him turning around instead of cutting in the middle of it then going to a shot of the car driving away.

There's some really good and really bad stuff in this video. First of all, matt s is right, it's waaaaaaay too long. You could get the same message across in 2 minutes. We realize he's lost after the first 15 seconds. Move on.

And I agree, the audio was REALLY bad. You need ambient sound on every shot. Just let the camera roll and record some room (desert) sounds at every location. Then, in your NLE, create a seond layer of audio with the room noise playing. That will help blend the shots together much better, especially when there's no music. What I found most disturbing was that you can actually hear people behind the camera talking and laughing and giving directions, even when he's "alone" in the car. As far as the pops, you can remove the pops by slowly raising the audio levels (setting keyframes in your NLE) for each clip.

If this is a rough cut please mention that in your original post so we don't need to criticize every detail.

Other than that there were some good car shots, the music was a good fit, and it does look really hot with the color correction. Good luck.
