Is there a way to prevent the camera starting with filename "00000"? Every time I erase a clip it uses the first available filename, e.g. if I record 3 clips named 00000, 00001, 00002 then erase 00000 the next clip will be called 00000 and the one after that 00003.
I don't have software to read the metadata at present so I'm stuck transcoding the files to cineform avis for the time being, and everytime I erase any clips duplicate filenames are created. Once I upgrade my machine I was planning on getting something like CS5. Does CS5 read the metadata and display user clip name as the filename?
