clip file with same video

Hi, I have a footage with 2 different file names but the same video, how did that happened? the first file is about 3.9 gig and the second file is about 3.6 gig, but when i import it to premiere, the file has identical filename although it came from 2 different file name. I have already erased the original file from the P2 card. Is there a way to retrieve the other file? Thank you.

I have found out what's wrong with it. I copied back the file to my p2 card and one of the clip has an exclamation symbol (!). Actually I haven't lost a video since the time code is not broken. But what is the exlamation point means? I tried to repair the clip with exclamation but still the same.
