Clip corruption? Fix?

After ingesting numerous cards into FCP7, 5 of approx 25 clips have 4 tracks of unrelated audio mixed (or flattened) into each file. Meaning each separate track of audio contains different and conflicting audio content...it seems that a previous clips audio somehow migrated into another. Very strange.

The cards are still full so the source material is available. Anyone encounter this before? I suspect a re-shoot is unavoidable...
 
Play back the clips in the camera and see if they're OK. If they are, then delete your MOV files and re-transfer them.
 
The playback in camera exhibits the same problem....I'm thinking I may have deleted a few clips to save recording space in the camera early on in the day and this may have caused the issue...still looking for a fix!
