Have been playing with Clip Browser 2.0 extensively this week and overall, I'm very pleased with its utility value.
However, there IS one feature I'd like to see:
When one marks in and out points on a clip, the Browser will let you make the in-out region into a new clip ON THE SAME DRIVE. What I need to be able to do is have the ability to specify another drive for the extracted region clip.
I ran into this the other day when I wanted a 12-minute segment out of 57 minutes of footage in one big clip. I could not find a way to do it, and since the card was full, I could not extract the region. So, I had to copy the entire clip to the editing system and do the extraction there. Needless to say, that took many times longer than if I could extract from SxS and write to HDD.
This is a very useful capability that should be added to Clip Browser.
