So, here's my contribution to the pool of "Oh boy I just got my new camera, now what am I going to aim it at?" videos.

Canon FD 28mm @ (about) f/3.5 (between 2.8 & 4)
ISO 250 w/ND3 (prolly should have pulled the ISO down to 100)
DSR1
Default 5600k white balance with no post grading - this is straight out of the camera.
Gotta find more things to aim it at and really get the feel for what this camera can do.

 
I wish I had this camera when my girls were young....I'd never point it in another direction!

No filters - other than ND. Lack of sharpness is most likely my rusty manual focus skills.
 
nice video. Canon fd's do match quite nicely with this camera. Coupled with drs1 = filmic IMHO.

it's probably DRS1 plus the low contast lens. I think it's a good thing personally
