Clients worrying about such a small camera

A client asked me the other day if my GH13 would have enough resolution for web use. I couldn't help but feel like they were constantly worried about the size of the camera. I explained about the bigger sensor and 1080p resolution at 24fps, but it didn't seem to matter. If I had a Canon 5D, I could have just said, "this was used to shoot the season finale of House". It doesn't help that micro 4/3rds has an even smaller form factor than DSLRs either. Is there anything I can say to put clients at ease?

My suggestion, based on what I do, is to let them know in advance that you will be shooting with a small camera. Reassure them that it is the best choice for that project and ideally let them see something you have shot before with the camera. Let them know that you have other cameras available to you, but you have chosen that camera for specific advantages.

They probably hired you because they have seen your work - so they need to trust that you can deliver for them. And once you do - it won't be an issue again.

I use the House example, as well as Lucas being interested in it, regardless of which SLR I'm using. I say 'a camera of this type' instead of 'this camera'.

Second matte box idea.
Even better to have big rails, big video tripod, huge microphone with mount and mattebox.
Kind of "professional look" :-)

Take of the lens, show them the sensor, and say: this is the image sensor, it's what makes the images, and it's 4 times larger than the one in the camera 8 times larger than this.
