clicking in camera lense?

hi people, i have just received an hvx200 but i am affraid that something is wrong :embarasse...everything seems working well, but when i rotate camera over horizontal axis, something in front part of camera "clicks" like when something moves a little bit forward to a and than if i rotate it back, it clicks again... the sound is quite disturbing. i think it would be surely on record if i make a camera shot with rotating over straight horizontal axis so is it some defect? when i rotate camera left/right it is not so loud. so the movement of that somewhere inside of camerathing is in microphone direction between lense and chip, maybe in lense? i dont see nothing visually...

dont you have some idea anybody to calm me down?
 
ahh thats normal! when off or in VCR mode the OIS mechanism clunks and clanks. Perfectly normal and nothing to worry about! Clunk away!
 
When I got my dvx i had this and was pissed. i didnt search the boards and made a post. the first 10 replies were telling me how broken my camera was and that its not covered under the warranty just to mess with me. Luckily I already found it was normal by searching on my own. JDAJDA where were you on my post, lol.
 
It is also covered in the "BEFORE CALLING FOR SERVICE" section of the manual, which describes various symptoms and conditions that might result in unnecessary tech support / service calls, but probably deserves more prominent mention because so many users run into it.

Oh yeah I got the welcome, but it showed me the most important lesson of dvxuser is to search first.
By the way "Sight" looks great, good luck with that. Any screenings around NY?

Thanks mang! Right now we just won a fest in PA and are about to spend the cash to submit to a bunch of fests so no.... but hopefully we'll get into some more fests :D maybe, and then I'll let you know.

i had to exorcise my hvx to get rid of the sound.. err what the question got anwered? damn too late!!
