Cleaning lens problem

I was shooting a car rally in rain and got a load of spray from the cars on the lens.

I cleaned this off with one of those chemical lens cleaning wipes. I have now noticed a few spots that I am unable to lift from the lens and show up when I shoot in bright sunlight.

What would any of you recommend I try next?

Look into getting a Zeiss lens cleaning kit! It's the best solution to get almost anything off your lens.
