cleaning dvx lens

looked at my dvx lens and it has some dust on it. Was wondering what are the best methods to cleaning if off the lens with out scratching or damaging?
 
I usually just use a microfiber cleaning cloth on the lens most of the time. If there's dust caught around the edge of the lens then I usually detail it with a lens pen. Hope that helps!

Try using a Skylight 1A filter on the front of the lens and then you only have to worry about the filter also it protects the lens from dust and scratches.

Yeah, I would also recommend using a skylight 1a or UV filter to protect the lens from any potential damage. But make sure you get one made of good quality glass. You don't want to degrade your image quality or introduce any CA. You will still probably need to take the filter off occasionally to clean both sides of it and the lens.
