cleaning dvx lens

i got a little smudge on the lense. And theres actually tiny litte dirt spots as well. I tried a micro fiber cloth, but it didnt get out the spots. Can any suggest a liquid to clean the lens
 
We use a spray cleaner meant for eye glasses, one squirt and wipe in a circular motion with a micro-fiber cloth. It was a kit that cost $5 at a drug store.
 
Sandpaper gives you that Barbara Walters triple-soft filter look.

But seriously, LensPen (nikon) and then microfiber for maintenance.
