Clean HDMI output from Nex 5N?

Hey guys.

not seen many topics regarding the sony Nex 5n here. Been following a few topics on here for the last 6 months and decided to finally sign up and hopefully contribute to a more technical forum than i have been involved in re videography using dslr's..

My main question is with regards to progress (if there is any) with hacking of Sony's Nex 5N, VG20, FS100 firmware? are there any ongoing projects related to these cameras? One massive problem I have found with regard to obtaining unrestricted output from the Nex5n is that during video recording mode the uncompressed HDMI output has an annoying elapsed time layered on top of the hdmi output. this disappears when in playback mode, but there is no way of outputting a clean HDMI output showing exactly what the sensor see's.

Has anyone else run into this? It woul be good to have the option of getting uncompressed data straight from the sensor IMO!

Having a sensor very similar in size to super35mm, being absolutely tiny, and being so similar in software to the FS100 (which allows clean HDMI output), I see the Nex5n as something very worth hacking. And would contribute to a donation fund if there were people working son such hack
