Clean Exporting etc

I've been playing around with the Gh13 for awhile on my own, but I think it's time to ask some questions...

What is everyone's export settings? (I use FCP and the guidelines here: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthrea...D-files-for-Youtube.&highlight=Export YouTube )

When I right click an imported hack file in FCP and go to Item Properties > Format - why is the data rate only 13.9 Mbs? (It does read as 23.98 fps btw)

Random: for the longest time I was thinking that I wasn't hacking it right because I wasn't ever having crash errors. I am finally getting the goofy footage for a second or two as reported (yay?) but my camera seems to be able to tackle everything fine (or I'm an idiot and not hacking it right). I don't have the rumored chart of doom, though... I guess when I find that on the forums do I just load it on my screen or need to print it?

Final Cut is giving you the MegaBYTES per second not the MegaBITS per second. So 13.9 megaBYTES is quite good and roughly around 50 mbs. For example FCP says that my 7D only shoots aboutt 6-7 Mbs so your GH1 is easily doubling that. Also, note that memory cards are sold based on Mbs speed. I've been having the same "problem" as you with trying to get my camera to crash as well. Try shooting in a well exposed area at a high shutter speed while clearly focused. If you are unsure of whether or not you actually hacked your camera or not try checking Quicktime. I believe it should be able to give you mbs.
