Hi, You know how the dvx can record timelapse, Certain # of frams recorded every Certain Seconds,

Well I am wondering if it is possible to set the camera so I can record 1 frame, any time i want, that way i can do stuff like claymation, Move my object, press record, Move my object again, press record? is this possible?

There are some timelapse/stop motion programs available for your computer (at least o nthe mac).
They allow previewing, overlays, etc.
The built in timelapse is fairly limited since it shoots multiple frames at a time.

If you're going to shoot stop motion with DVX, don't forget to use the remote for triggering the frame by frame.

One of the most important things to do with frame by frame recording is to apply motion blur in something like After Effects to avoid the jerky looking of old stop motion work. That's because every frame on that old footage was in perfect focus.
