Clarification on The HMC Book and the P2 Content Management System

I guess this is actually a question for Barry Green: I'm a bit confused: On page 200 of my copy of "The HMC Book" (which covers the HMC40, HMC80, and HMC150), the first paragraph on that page refers to the "P2 Contents Management System". Of course, neither the HMC40, 80, or 150 use P2 cards so I was curious about this and checked the Panasonic PASS site (https://eww.pass.panasonic.co.jp/p2ui/OpinionSendMail.do - Note: you need to sign up and create an account in PASS if you haven't already done so, and log in to see the page I'm referring to) and looked at the P2 Contents Management System (ver 1.4 for Mac or Windows) and read the information on it (at bottom of page). I could find nothing that referred to SDHC cards or the HMC40,80, or 150 in particular. Sorry but did I miss something in the book's explanation or is there some additional information missing on the PASS site regarding using the P2 Content Management System with SDHC cards and the HMC40, 80, or 150 ? Thank you.

CinemaPete, I had the same problem because Panasonic keeps moving the reference URLs around. Barry, on Pg. 190 of "The HMC Book" refers to three separate
viewer programs that do basically the same thing: Panasonic AVCCAM Viewer (This is the one for the HMC40, 80 and 150), the P2 Viewer Program and the P2
Contents Management System. Disregard these last two. Check out these URLs for the Panasonic AVCCAM Viewer and see if they help (depending if you have a Mac or PC).
Of course, you need your ID and password as you point out. One final thought, this AVCCAM Program only runs on 32 bit operating systems??? Of course
my operating system is 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate.........Regards Hap

Thanks HAP, appreciate your reply.

Yes, what was throwing me was the fact that the P2 Viewer and the P2 Content Management System are for P2 card users and not anyone using an AVCCAM camera and the the fact that the book mentioned P2 didn't make sense to me because the book is supposed to be about the HMC40, 80, 150 which of course don't use P2 cards. I think if the reference to both the P2 Viewer and P2 Content Management System were not there to begin with that would have made the difference. In any case, thanks again. (I should have also added that prior to placing my quesiton I had already downloaded the AVCCAM Viewer and have been using it and thought the other two P2 centric programs offered additional functionality).
