It seems like a rather good idea, plus it would be ultra easy to mod it with a bigger hard drive. I work for a computer company so i can get 350gb laptop drives for around $110... Just curious if anyone has tried it yet.

Close to $1000? Oh well. Guess I'll stick with my laptop and DV Rack.

According to Barry Green, citidisk has some issues to work out. He recommends Firestore over citidisk. You can check out his reply under my thread P2, citidisk, firestore?

CitiDisk hasn't enjoyed the best reputation in their DV product lineup. They've just now started shipping their HD lineup, and ... well... reports from users are coming in. Search for 'em to hear firsthand user reports.
