@akivisuals.. is your Atlas 10 still on the market? I see from videos that it can be used vertically but is there a counterbalance mechanism? Most of the reviews seem to featue DSLRs. I have an AG-AC160A that weighs a bit over five pounds.
 
Yes, it's still available. Mine doesn't have the optional vertical counterbalance kit but there is one available. The Atlas 10 can carry up to 40 lbs. (18kg) so I think it can handle your AG-AC160A without breaking a sweat. :) Let me know if you're interested.
