Cinevate Durus/Zacuto Zip specific questions

Just received these two items and have a question on each one's accessory. If anyone can shed some specific info on their purpose and how they are used, I would greatly appreciate it.

1) Cinevate Durus Follow Focus comes with a "J" shaped very small black clamp with a brass threaded knob. I don't know where this would go or it's specific function...

2) Zacuto ZipGear stops. These are the red colored stops. Not quite sure where they would stop on.

This is all mounted on a Zacuto Baseplate with an AF100 and Nikon lenses. Thanks.

Sounds like you're referring to one of our Hard Stops. By removing the magnetic marker ring from your Durus Follow Focus, you can then attach the Hard Stop on the metal ring. Your pointer needle is loosened/tightened with the brass screw on it so you can pull focus and come to a hard stop if you're unable to mark and use the white ring. You can see it in action in this catalog photo
