Cinevate Durus Follow Focus and fitting to Fujinon CAC lens

OK. So I have the answer.
If youre ordering the Durus from Cinevate and you will be placing the FF on an ENG lens such as Fujinon or Canon, when you order ask Cinevate to "SPLIT" one of the focus rings for you (they do it free). THis way you can slip it over the large end of the barrel. Very easy.

Have you bought the FF yet?
I bought mine from Chrozeil and ordered the gear ring ($100) for the Fujinon lens. It all works perfectly.

Sorry Jason. Well the ff looks good, smooth action, no play etc. But I have a couple of small things I need to sort out with Cinevate - these are just minors of little concern, but are stopping me from using the unit. Shame really, theres a Pana thing this Thursday for the 300, I wanted to take the unit with me.
