I just ordered the Brevis 35MM Adapter Upgrade and the EX1 Fix. It is supposed to do the following things (Dennis chime in if I am wrong about something):
1. Improve edge to edge sharpness (which I think will allow me to have the camera set to a lower f stop -- before the camera needed a lot of light and a high f-stop number to look sharp)
2. Fix the black edge problem (so I can zoom in far enough to get clean edges and not have to blow up the image in post)
3. Be even more film like (more diffusion and better bokeh)
I also bought rails and a new case (I feel like it's Christmas).
I'll keep you updated when I get it back from Cinevate and post some footage.
If anyone already owns the EX1 fix and flip module, what is the new recommended zoom setting for a 50mm nikon lens?
