CineScope Framing

I was wondering why (unlike the Varicam) there isnt a CineSope Frame marker on the HVX200? it has 90% safety and 4:3...yet the (in my views) crap Canon XH A1 has a 2:35 marker.

I am shooting a short film for 2:35 output and was wondering any cheap ways to frame the LCD.

What would be cool is if someone made a firmware hack and put the markers in the cam!!!!!!!!!!

Why not shoot normally and then use the photozoom pro method disjecta developed a few years back to give you scope ratio. Then you don't have to trash valuable sensor data with any cropping.

Not really his question and you are still loosing the same amount of data, just using a different resizing algorithm.
