cinemek's g35? what happened? lol

Seems like everything is once again in the down low until further notice. *Sigh* maybe in another few weeks we can get more info.

I'm still getting used to focusing in and out with the G35 but heres a screen shot

How did you get a new G35? Because it seems like what was once almost real has against disapated into vapour.

i don't know from that picture, but from my understanding the G35 mount is suppose to mounts into the camera the same the Lens Hood mounts into the camera. Currently I'm using a universal 72mm mount, which screws into the DVX where you normally use for UV filters, until the DVX mount is finished and ready.

How much did it cost you? Why did you get one? Why is there no info about this or even an update to the website and yet someone has one? This really isn't adding up, the g35 guy came back, made a big push (apparently at sundance) and then everything went quiet again.

And suddenly someone has a shipping model.

Do these people not want to make money?

Right now they're just working out some of the minor kinks to perfect the adaptor but im sure very soon. The only issue thats bothering me is the release button for the Nikon lens which is hard to push down, but that should be taken care of once the final product is released. I think everything is just being finalized right now. Overall they want to ensure a product that produces a quality image that everyone will be satisfied with. Anyways heres some more screen shots. I used a Nikon 50mm lens

I don't get it:
You have one unit, you use it, you post stills and yet you sign:
"G35 where art thou".

yeah i had that sig for a while i just havent changed it until now. I'll try to post up some footage later. I decreased the detail on my settings so that probably contributes to the softness of the footage.
