I email Jon from time to time, and he's still working on getting these production G35 units out.

he told me he's waiting for some concrete dates before he can make any official announcements.

i bought a brevis, but I'm still keeping tabs on the G35...if it's taken this long, it's gonna be AMAZING!

Yes, that is what I'm hopping for too. If it's better than it was before it'll be mind blowing...and it kind of HAS to be because the 35mm adapter market is VERY competitive these days, with very very good moving solutions around 900$. When it first came out the only quality competition was the M2 (around the same price). Now we have loads of other adapters that can do a very good job. It's been so long that the preassure for something amazing must be incredible. I'll be crossing my fingers for Jonathan. Whenever we spoke he was always a great sport.

On a different matter, people here said that it would have been nice to have seen images from people who are not professionals like Macgregor. When the cinemek's website was fully functional there was loads of full resolution HOME videos that looked simply amazing. So, the excuse that the G35 footage only looked good because it was compressed in a small quicktime window and because it was shot by professional film makers doesn't quiet fly.

different solutions for different needs and tastes

Hey rawfa, what number are in line for the preorder list? I hope they'll release the final product sometime before March.

i'm 121 (i think) for the g35.

I gave up on it a month ago after i saw the bokeh results and hardly any grain from the sgpro.rev2's footage here.

i'll be receiving my sgpro soon. already got me 3 primes and a zoom in canon fd. I still beleive that no matter what tool you use.. you can acheive the impossible by your brilliance and creativity.

The PL and OCT-19 mounts are now both finished and we will be releasing on the 1st December. It will be the most affordable PL/OCT-19 - HD ready 35mm adapter out there @ £730 ($1300). This includes the SGpro Rev2 adapter with HD ready achromat, PL or OCT19 lens mount and 15mm rods support system with QR sliding plate.

The full list of mounts available for the SGpro:

(fully interchangeable, no GG adjustment necessary):

Canon EOS/EF

M42

Contax

Leica R

Leica M39

Minolta MD

Nikon F

Olympus OM

Pentax K

PL mount (released in 1 month)

OCT-19 mount (released in 1 month)

Wow, Wayne that's a hell of a package for that price.

I just watched the BLUE footage. Was that shot with the Rev2 HD? Looked really good.

So,
are all mounts 380$/are all Kits with mount 1300$?

No, the mounts are different prices. As stated in a previous post:

SGpro with Nikon F mout £480 ($920). This includes the 15mm rods support with QR sliding plate and HD achromat.

In this case, a Nikon F mount is £50.

so witch one is the best static like go35 or the rest? for the price is it great? cause i want to buy one but they seems to do the same thing.

i have a go35 its very nice. i jsut tested it, it actually works quite well even up to 720P.

So what did happen to the G35 Cinemek adapter? I have sen them countless e-mails and absolutely no responses. How hard is it to make a bunch of adapters...really?

The first people who pre-ordered should be receiving their G35s by now. I'm looking forward to checking out footage from your everyday average shooter...image wizards like Macgregor can shoot something with his cellphone and make it look filmic.
