Cinematography Test

Looks good to me. I'm not sure why people would give you negative feedback.

I would interested in seeing more complex shots. In each of these shots, you are relatively tight in the frame. I would love to see your technique on a wider shot with more happening in the frame.

Good job.

What was your set up? How did you get that look?

I too don’t understand why this has had negative feedback either. Shots 3, 4 and 7 are very very nice...and the music is stunning. I would reduce the sound level on the music channel though as its drowning out the dialogue channel, it’s a bit too loud.

Looks fantastic.

What types of "negative comments" are you getting?? doesn't make any sense to me.

p.s. haven't I seen this before? or that actor? or something??

Unfortunately, I just learned that I had to cancel production on this so I'm removing the link.

As for settings or whatever, it's using a 35mm adapter, 28mm, 50mm, and 85mm lenses and a low master ped, plus slightly overexposed lighting pulled down a bit in post and heavy color correction.

I hope i didnt give you any negative comments as i hoped my PM would clear that up.

No worries; that was a small part of it, but not a lot. Right now I may or may not finish since the actors (mostly just my friends) are getting sick of constant reshoots, so I don't want to post anything online to jinx it.

Seriously, though. My comments weren't at the quality of the footage.. its great (and so is the content it seems) i was only commenting on how it looked like a great sample of DVX/35mm footage... instead of "replicating film".. so really it is good! it's as good as it can be.

No worries...the reason I took it down has nothing to do with your comments or with anyone's. I'm just in the middle of production difficulties... By the way, the content wasn't actually all that good, but I am please with the visuals so far.
