Cinematic/Abstract

Im shooting a skiing short and because everyone is shooting HD I want something that looks a little more cinematic and abstract. I figured 24P advanced would do the trick so i shot in that. Now im just curious how i import into final cut. Also how i would go about setting up the timeline so it will look good.

If anyone has any ideas on how to make it look cinematic and/or abstract id be very open for suggestions.
