Dear DSLR film fellas on DVXuser,
let's unite our skills and creativity to make this one unforgettable: Cinema Out of Your Backpack, our DSLR Film Festival.
Do you have a story in mind you've always wanted to turn into a movie for the big screen? Whether it's fiction or documentary – go out and shoot a 3-minute scene which best represents your movie, then submit to us! Call for entries: October 2010.
Our challenge to you: Everything you need has to fit in your backpack – your idea, your DSLR and your equipment. Prove it with a picture!
Have a look at our promo video on Vimeo.
And remember, it’s the story that matters, not just the visuals.
A selection of the best movies will be celebrated on the big screen at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Film Academy in Ludwigsburg, Germany, followed by an awards show presenting the festival winners.
Jury and awards to be announced soon!
Tell us what you think, spread the word and connect with us on Vimeo, Facebook and Twitter.
