Cineframe24...

So, I was trying to mess around with Cineframe on a sunset last night (even though everyone has told me not too)...and you can only use Cineframe when recording DV? not HDV?

If this is not true could someone tell me how to find it in the menu, cause I went to the menu while in HDV mode and the place that says Frame Mode (or Frame Record or something) wouldnt let me select it.

Help? (NOT THAT ILL USE CINEFRAME FOR ANY MOVIES! dont worry)

I was able to use Cineframe for HDV as well as DV, not sure why yours isn't working. Sorry, it's been a while since I used an FX1 and I can't remember the menu layout for it.

make a picture profile and set it to cineframe

Yeah you can use cineframe mode in either hdv or dv mode. Just hit the top button on the back marked picture profile, then pick a profile slot, then down in that menu pick either cineframe 24 or 30 and then you can save.
