Cineframe 24 on a projector

I have heard that most projectors don't like the Cineframe 24p, is this true? I'm making a video for my schools film fest, and I don't wanna have to make my "movie" in 60i. If anyone can shed some light on the subject I would be much appreciated.

I don’t know about projectors, but the Cineframe 24 doesn’t look as good as Cineframe 30 does to my eyes. CF30 has a nice smooth progressive movie look. Do some shooting in Cineframe 30 and see.

I am tempted to experiment in CF30, I know filming wise (through the LCD) CF24 looks a little choppy, but the finished product I think 24 looks better.

Think about most projectors have 60Hz as their native rate. So CF30 might be best for the projectors processor. Go for CF30 and use a 60shutter filming...

CineFrame 24 would display on any projector or television. The image is recorded in 60i.

With that said, CineFrame 24 yields uneven motion rendition. It's not an accurate simulation of 24fps. It's more like an odd strobing effect. If you like it, hey, it's there and you can use it (and it will project properly) but I'd tend to agree with Philipp on this, CF30 is a more generally pleasing simulation of progressive than CF24 is.
