TWo frames, one original 720 25p, the other CFHD uprezzed to 1080.
I kept the dimension but had to jpg both frames, the big one slightly compressed to fit in the member upload.
Make sense the uprezzing?
My client want to receive hdcam 1080.
Please dont suggest to rent a cinealta...

There is a small bug in the 720p to 1080 upres in current release of HDLink, so it will look better. In a week I also we are releasing a bunch of enhancement including this one. One reason the bug got through is there is very little benefit to upresing HXV 720p before editing (read my last blog entry on this very subject -- http://cineform.blogspot.com/2006/08/hvx200-resolution-options.html.) One you can completed your production at 720p, then upres to 1080PsF24 for HDCAM or D5 mastering.

Note: There are good reasons to shoot 1080p and downres to 720p, and that is working beautifully.

I do agree that downresolution is better. WHen i print pal dvd the result is fantastic even if the M2 and my (sometimes) focusing are softening the image.
It's only that i have to shoot slow motion and plop an hdcam cassette at the end. And i would like to master this workflow with my own camera package, for money reasons and also to keep the style i've sold, which is dirty, grainy and, of course, a little soft.
