Cineform neoscene settings???

I'm trying to transcode the AVCHD from the HMC150 but ran into a snag with the latest project. After transcoding all the footage to AVI I went to look at the footage and everything is sped up. I dropped it on a timeline and see that the audio is the correct length. This is weird since my last transcode went fine. I'm thinking I must have messed something up when playing with the setting in NeoScene. Can somebody tell me what everything should be set at when transcoding 720 30p footage into AVI? THANKS!

My 720 30p footage is also sped up after neoscene- the guys that run cineform regularly check the forums over at dvinfo

I don't shoot 720 often enough to bring it up, but it will be interesting to read what you find

Yeah, I found it strange. The other times when it DID work was with 720 60p. So maybe 30p is the culprit.

30p is the issue, 720 60p works fine with neoscene

Yes! The same thing happened to me, so I'm not crazy! There seems to be an issue with 30p and Neoscene. What I've done, when I import to premiere, is just to use the "Interpret Footage" command to 29.97fps.

But since I've just been using 24p and 60p, so I haven't been worrying bout it much as of late.

I have been testing with 1080 30p and not had any trouble, haven't tried 720 30p yet...

Just a quick comment. We (CineForm) have requested a file from the DVInfo thread where the same topic was posted (because we hang out there more). Hopefully we'll duplicate and fix the problem soon....

It did this to me with PAL 50p footage playing at double speed in Vegas
