Cineform is rendering 720P60 to 720P30 slowmo- Why?

I wanted to test the 720P/60fps with the new codec- Cineform keeps making my 60P footage into slow motion. If I watch the 720P60 .mts in VLC, it plays the 60P fine. Anyone else dealt with this?

Papa, i just tried the same thing with the latest cineform and converted correctly for me.

Both with iframe selected and unselected.

iFrame? In my Cineform NeoScene ( version 1.1.4.35 )- there's no ifame option

I sent an email 5 days ago to CineForm tech support, never heard back.. So what to do?

720p 60fps footage works fine on Cineform NeoScene. You need to pick "maintain source frame format" option.

My version of Neoscene is 1.6.0 build 140

There is a free upgrade offer if your version is under 6mths old or a small upgrade fee if older. I think the older versions from memory did not support 50/60fps AVCHD.

I don't have that option- Ok that's weird..

I bought NeoScene last August/September for the GH1. So am I to understand that this neoscene was not ready to truly support the GH1 720P/60-

Well, I guess missed that V5 happen. I'll upgrade it.

Yup, V5 is a $49 upgrade and worth it too, conversion is a bit faster and the little bug i had with 50fps footage is no longer there.

Check the official cineform blog, all the inconsistencies are listed there.

While we're talking updates here, if ever an interface needed reworking to bring it into the twenty-first century, it's NeoScene.

Gets the job done, but boy howdy, it looks like a throwback to Windows 3.1.
