Cineform avi...can't drag to timeline

I've done this many times before with no issues. here goes.

Vegas Platinum 9
GH1 1080/60i footage
Create Cineform intermediate
Import Media to Vegas
Attempt to drag clip into timeline...that's where i am suddenly having a problem. I right-clicked on clip in Project Media window and clicked Preferences. Under "Attributes", it says "Stream Offline"

I don't recall ever seeing that in the past. Usually when i Import Media, i can see a snapshot of the clip in the Project Media Window....now, i'm not, just the standard avi logo, and i can't drag the clip onto the timeline to start editing.

any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
 
It happened with me too few times but then it sorted out when I restarted the program, I would like to know the issue though.
 
i just uninstalled-reinstalled...didn't fix. i can watch the cineform avi's all day...but when i import them to Vegas, i can't drag the clips to the timeline...frustrating...

have you tried right clicking the clip or highlighted a group of them and using open with, then go to Vegas
 
uninstalled/reinstalled Neoscene fixed the problem. my 720/60p files worked fine which made me think is was the Cineform avi's...apparantley it was. thanks
 
yes. i don't know why. nothing else in my workflow changed. are you having a similar issue?

i should clarify what my issue actually was.

my 720/60p files were NOT converted with Cineform, as i used those clips for slow motion in Sony Vegas, so NeoScene was not involved. What i was having trouble with was the 1080/24p(60i) files i converted in Cineform (pulldown removal) that weren't being seen by Vegas.
